My name is Annie O’Rourke, from Newmarket, England, and I am fortunate enough to be a member of the 20th intake of the Godolphin Flying Start course. To be a part of such an internationally recognised program that offers the best opportunities in our industry is one that I am immensely grateful for. After two years of travelling and learning, I am aiming to develop and expand my skills in order to prepare me for a career in racehorse training. Leading up to my current traineeship, I have worked in Training and Pre-training yards, been based with a Bloodstock agency and most recently graduated from the Irish National Stud breeding course. Alongside this, I have also graduated with a BSc degree in Psychology from Heriot-Watt University.
