Chris Armstrong is currently based in the Office at Ballydoyle Racing where amongst other things he is involved with the entries and declarations of Aidan O’Brien’s horses. Since graduating Godolphin Flying Start, Chris Armstrong has spent time working for some of the leading trainers around the world. He began in New York for trainer Christophe Clement immediately after graduating, where he spent 13 months as a Foreman. Chris then relocated to Australia to take up a position with Australian Hall of Fame trainer Gai Waterhouse as Foreman/Operations Manager. Following a move to be Foreman at Paul Messara Racing in Scone, Australia, Chris then returned to Gai Waterhouse as Senior Foreman before moving home to work at Ballydoyle Racing in 2019.
