What horse got you interested in the Thoroughbred industry?
Enniskillen (Punchestown expert!)
Why did you apply for the Godolphin Flying Start scholarship?
The unique opportunities that the Godolphin Flying Start scholarship provides motivated me to apply. The prospect of learning and working within the industry alongside leading figures and experts from around the world is incredibly exciting. The chance to build up a global network and equip myself with new skills and knowledge will enable me to make a meaningful impact on the Thoroughbred industry.
Have you any siblings?
I have a younger brother, Miles; he is very allergic to horses, so he is purely a spectator!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love playing Hockey and Tennis and watching nearly any sport. I am interested in anything to do with animals and will usually be found watching David Attenborough documentaries in my spare time.
What did you think you will miss most about home while you travel through each of the five phases?
I think I will miss my dogs the most, as well as my family, of course, and I know I will be sad to miss the likes of the Dublin Racing Festival and Punchestown and all the fun that comes with them!
